Anybody tried Abigail Van Buren recipes?

I didn't know that she had a reputation for dessert recipes.I just read that her "dessert recipes are unmatchable" in todays Dear Abby column.

 
No experience,but loved reading Dear Abby w/ my grandmother..She always used it as a teaching moment

 
Its "mine", my friends, DMIL's also--but not "hers"--just "ours" LOL. It is also

really good with dark Karo.
Just an FYI, for any who do pecan pies, I parbake my crust, put the pecans in the crust and then put in the filling.
