Anyone bought tapioca lately??? Ouch!!!

2 years of pests and flooding in Thailand have skyrockted the price of tapioca--8 oz. box of minute tapioca was $4.29 at the grocery today!

I'm one of the few who like the big pearl tapioca in pudding

and you almost never see it anymore.

Melissa, if you have a Thai grocery store in Dallas you will find it

The large pearl tapioca is very popular in Thai cooking. I am able to find it easily here.
