anyone care?

Of course we do....

sounds like you are having a rough day. Mine wasn't so bad until everything started falling apart once I got home. DH is traveling for work and left all his travel papers at work so he went back downtown to get them only to forget to take the keys and passes needed to get in. He and DD had a little tiff and she got REALLY upset (must be a teenage hormone thing). Now I am finally sitting back taking a few minutes for myself before hitting the bed.

Well, let's see. My 12-year-old escaped what could have easily been...

...tragic, as a tire came completely off the bus he was riding in, returning from a class field trip. A 7-hour trip home became a life-threatening 14-hour ordeal.

I lost a dear friend Monday. He was a war hero, a loving grandfather to one of my son's friends, and a rock of faith, dignity and peace. I'll miss him terribly.

Another friend started chemo Monday. She's 32.

It's been a tough week all around.

Peace to you all,

Michael

Wow, Michael triple whammy. So thankful your son is safe, how in the world did that happen?? Was

it a school bus? Were all kids unharmed?

No need to be sorry! Hope you are feeling better. Glad your son is o.k. Michael, Will be

adding your friend to my prayers, boy too many people close to all of us going through this.
Take care of yourselves and those dear to you.

No disrespect whatsoever. And I know what you mean about...

...needing a good 3 to 5 minute pout.

Any more than that and I find I risk getting lost in my own gray cloud.

I have a lot to be thankful for.

Michael

It was a charter bus hired by the school. The kids were a little shaken, but the driver...

...was able to bring the bus safely to a halt.

The school staff was marvelous, and only a few scared tears were shed by the kids.

We were very blessed to have it turn out that way.

Michael
