Anyone ever heard of stuffing a turkey w/kraut and roasting or grilling???

one of the ladies at work was talking about it and it sounds delish. I would guess it sort of does some of the same things brining or a beer butt would do - keep it moist and add a little flavor.

MCM, there are some

Austrian, Czech, etc. recipes for stuffing a goose with a kraut filling. It could be an adaptation of that. I can look up the filling tonight if you're interested.

Turkey stuffed with spaghetti

I had a friend who always stuffed her turkey with spaghetti, browned ground beef, and the usual stuffing herbs. She brought a dish in for me once and it was delicious. The turkey juices had permeated the spaghetti making it very tasty. Believe me, I was dubious.
