Ack! Worse than I thought. A friend had seen the way shrimp are farmed in Asia & has since,
refused to eat them. EAch time I consider buying some, I think of what he said and walk away. It's been 2 years since I bought them.
I see wild shrimp at $14 a pound and the farmed things for $5. Quelle discrepancy!
