Anyone familiar with the British 'digestive biscuits'? Just wondered what they taste like.

Another Gourmet note ...

"Half cookie, half cracker, and completely addictive, McVities Digestive Biscuits add an unmistakably British twist to the cheesecake. Buy an extra roll to enjoy with coffee or tea. (Many specialty food shops stock them, or try British American Imports at britshoppe.com.)"

Love the McVitty's chocolate-covered ones smileys/wink.gif

Digestive Cookies are very nice with cheese. Peak Frean makes a lovely chocolate covered variety as

well as the plain ones. Peak Frean is a Kraft brand and seems it's not available in the US. Pity!

Ok, now that people have commented on these, your Cheesecake Bars are starting to look even better!

Thes are super and with them I prepare a fav. quick dessert to go with coffee...

Have a saucer filled with sherry, Monis medium Cream is good. Dip them quickly into this one by one working as you go.
One biccie digestive side dipped and layed on the serving plate chocie side down. Drop a teaspoon of unsweetend whipped cream (not too much) and top with another dipped biccie, chocie side up. Then set a wee bit of the whipped cream in the center of this and top with a nicely shaped half walnut. A mint sprig alongside makes a good garnish
Very more-ish.
