Anyone familiar with this recipe adapted from Nick Malgieri...

ErininNY thank you, I believe that is it....cheezz the railway cake looks interesting, thank you.

Gay, I searched at Amazon for his Perfect Cakes and the preview mode

has one called Irish Currant and Raisin Cake. The ingredients are almost identical, but it doesn't include the whiskey glaze.

His recipe makes a 2" deep 8" pan. I thought it couldn't be the same, but then I noticed the pan on the link you gave is for a 6" bundt.

The only differences I saw were:

Nick's calls for:
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 1/4 C flour.

The linked recipe calls for:
1/2 tsp + 1/8 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
2 1/2 C flour.

The link does say the recipe was adjusted for high altitude.

thanks Erin. this recipe has the leavening for lower altitude. I think I'll try it for work.

Thanks, Marilyn I wanted the original recipe for the same reasons as ang. Appreciate

the help greatly. Want to try this.

Gay
