Anyone have any experience with argan oil (cooking)?

Maybe this is called something else in North America, but I can't think of what it is...

New to me, but sounds interesting and healthy. Not supposd to be heated?

My understanding is Argan oil is from Morocco (?) and the price has recently skyrocketed.

Apparently it's the hot new garnishing oil. I haven't had a chance to try it though.
