I am craving 'maw bread' - I have the bread recipe, just don't know how to get the starter going. My grandmother never made bread until late in her life when my uncle's wife gave her some of the starter and the recipe. Don't know why I am wanting it so badly right now except that somewhere in the back of my mind I remembered that my uncle's wife started the craze in my family and she is barely hanging in there now and we expect the bad news any time.
