Lemon Layer Cake
I didn't make this one but did make one from epicurious several years ago and it was great. If you find it on the site, be sure to read all comments by people who made it--there was trouble with slippage and filling oozing out from between layers. Totally worth all the trouble though.

Reading comments
That can be a problem. I read the comments on the Bulletin Board of Cook's and noticed some problems, so I thought perhaps Sylvia's posted recipe might be better, but I am undecided. I know how to handle the slippage problem, but I might just have to pull the trigger on one or the other before Monday anyhow.

ISO Sylvia: need your comments about your lemon cake posted in T&T.
Sylvia's recipes are usually great. I have not tried this one myself. If you do a search for lemon curd, there are lots of posts about making this all kinds of ways---in the crockpot, in the microwave, on the stovetop etc. also hints on how to preserve it, if you have lots of lemons and might want to make curd to use later.
