Anyone seen the movie Prime, with Madhur Jaffrey playing a therapist? Wierd. Imagine Martha Stewart

as a doctor, or Jamie Oliver as an architect.

I guess I am too much of a Jaffrey fan to buy in to this multi-function concept.

Madhur Jaffrey

Actually, Madhur Jaffrey was an actress, as far back as 1965, before she ever wrote a cookbook.

Bonnie, I did not know that--have several of her books and

met her at an Indian and Southeast Asia course I took at CIA in Napa Valley. Wow, what a great woman!! she did classes in the theater there--it is in the old Christian Brothers Winery building. Looks like an old castle and this area was like a small amphitheater with great acoustics and cameras.
Have you seen this movies?

I am robb2 on the swap---there were several Nans and another robb??so ---love your feedback in the grapevine.

hello!

Nan, nice to meet you over here! Your experience at the CIA class sounds wonderful - I'm looking forward to someday being back in California and being able to go there and to COPIA as well! cheers, Bonnie

I'm so glad she moved on from that vocation. I still smile when I try to picture her as a therapist.

We can get such strong associations in our minds but when mine are linked to food, they become powerful!

I must say though, I do like her personal presentation style. (contrary to that of Emeril for example). She is skilled at that as well.
