Are Soba noodles readily available in supermarkets?

I keep running across recipes lately using Soba noodles but have never noticed them in either Trader Joes, Stop and Shop or Pathmark.

Would I find them in these stores and what area would they be in? If not there, where can I buy them?

Thanks.

They're in the "Oriental" section of my market. Seems an incorrect term, but that's what they use.

What else are they called. My produce guy has no clue as to what they are, yet

I know I used to buy them. Are Asian noodles the same? Soba noodles, are made from whole wheat, are they not?

They are made of buckwheat, sort of grey brown looking and I buy them in Japantown

but I've seen them at Whole Foods in the dried pasta section on the Asian foods aisle. You can get them online from many places, even Amazon(not that I would recommend Amazon). They are really good for you for some reason but all I know is that they taste great!

In Hawaii you can find Soba noodles dried, fresh (refrigerated) or frozen almost everywhere
