I don't know, but our FDA seems completely overwhelmed and, imo, inept at finding and
solving problems in our food chain. I was horrified when I heard about the baby bottles and now to find out that the lined cans, which I thought were superior may be a problem is disconcerting, to say the least.
I use very few canned items, but I'm sure there is other packaging with the BPA that I don't know about. Hopefully someone will decide whether or not it is a problem and take action soon.
He routinely works 18 hour days and most weekends. Even when he's on vacation (not often) he's on call. The agency is underfunded and understaffed. They're doing the best they can, but we have a large country with a lot of issues.
