Are there any good store-bought salad dressings without preservatives and tons of salt? Am

specifically looking for Italian and Blue Cheese, but am open to other ideas. I've tried Marie's, which is okay, but not great.

I make my own French vinaigrette, which I love, thanks to David Lebovitz, but I really don't want to make my own blue cheese dressing - tried it a few times, and that was enough. There are too many other things to make from scratch that are more important to me.

The blue cheese dressing recipe in "Joy" is good.

I have it in a word file so it would be easy to share if you like.

I used to buy Marie's Blue Cheese dressing all the time but have not in years

it used to be excellent. I did buy a Marie's Thousand Island last week and it is very good so I think their quality control is still OK. Now, when I want a blue cheese dressing I make a champagne vinegar vinaigrette and add Maytag Blue Cheese. Saves calories and yet gives me that blue cheese fix I crave.

try putting blue cheese into a batch of original Ranch Dressing. . .

The original Ranch, that you need to make with buttermilk and mayonnaise. Pretty good and you can make it as cheesy a you wish.
