Hello! Yes, that's me! Are you a member of Mimi's? I had that site for quite awhile, but

I dismantled it. Since the recipes were posted verbatim, I didn't want to leave myself vulnerable to any type of copyright violation. If I ever reassemble the site, I'll post the recipes in my own words, and maybe throw in some original ones.

I can't remember the website we first hooked up and "met" online. Toooooo long ago.

But, I remembered your name because it was different.

I did have my own website for recipes and cooking, but the online company it was with, went out of business and all the people using them had to bug out. I lost my whole treasure trove of recipes!

Recently I was looking for a recipe, can't even remember for what anymore and it led me to this site.

How many Meryl's are good cooks on the planet? so, I thought I would ask!

Oh, and I did try Mimi's for a short while at your suggestion, like 5+ years or more ago, but I never could get to the computer and fit into a community very easily with our schedule, so I dropped out.

We aren't traveling as much these days, but I am very busy with lots of volunteer work and I decided to substitute teach and that's been a fun thing to do too.

Right now we are looking for a vacation place in Dana Point or San Clemente. The prices are still crazy in California, but we're hoping to get a good investment.

I can't say how often I will be on here, but it sure was nice to run into you again!
