Attn: All Cookie Bakers!! My friend just emailed me this cookie site

Lots of good info!

Very similar to the CRAFTSY class I just took on cookie decorating.

I'm not fond of royal icing though - I love using Sugar Baby Frosting. Did you originally provide this recipe Barbara?

Sugar Baby Frosting

1 32 oz. pkg. confectioners’ sugar, sifted
1/3 cup evaporated skimmed milk
1/3 cup white corn syrup
1 teaspoon pure vanilla
1/3 cup water, boiling
Combine milk, syrup and vanilla in a saucepan over heat and add boiling water.
Blend together with electric mixer. Add confectioners sugar and continue mixing
until smooth. The frosting consistency is similar to a glaze. Color with powdered food coloring for decorating cookies.

Deb, I'm with you on the royal Icing. I really don't care for the way it tastes at all!

It wasn't me who posted the Sugar Baby Frosting but I sure will try it, thank you!

I use a professional baker for our store's decorated sugar cookies and her royal icing is delish...

however I don't have a clue how she makes it. I made some royal icing last weekend, decorated 2 dozen cookies and then threw the whole batch out I thought it tasted so ooky. So did another batch the next day with the frosting I posted above - *swoon*
