any way to retrieve it other than to go "back" on your page and see if it there. For future reference, what I do now, after losing my text too many times, when I have a particularily long post anywhere, not just here, I copy the text before I try and send it, then if it doesn't send, you still have a copy that you can paste again. I hope you will post again, because I love to read your stories. smileys/smile.gif

I just dont know if the whole foodie experience will read the same when I rewrite it...

prolly turn into a sort of travelogue instead.

i know what you mean, joanie. it's hard to repeat that creative rush, BUT...

please give it a try. i'm sure that even the gist of it will be a good read.

and write it somewhere where you can save it.

 
or write it on your word processor from the beginning (saving often) and then copy&paste to the ...

'post reply' box.

i learned this from several bitter experiences.
