"Back" button problem in IE still an issue?

still not working as it used to at all - not intermittent for me. it takes it's time and looks like

it's going to spit me back where i was but just drops me at the top of the page again, whether i hit the back arrow or use the back history thingie. also have not been able to send pm's. hadn't had any probs prior. :-}

IE7 crashed our work computers. Couldn't work with our accounting or gov't billing software. awful

Ok, I'm wondering if for the ones that the back button is not working, it's because...

you may have upgraded to IE7, which could possibly happen without your knowledge (someone else did it, or you ran "windows update" or something). IE7 just came out a few days ago.

Isn't it a drag that upgrades are so faulty? I'm worried about upgrading my Norton AntiVirus - had

mixed reviews, as did all the other anti-virus programs I checked out. I have to upgrade before Friday or I'll be unprotected!

Yikes, what a hassle. I gave up on Norton and use the free Mcfee offered by my isp. But I also use

Zone Alarm, AdAware, and another program for spyware. Seems to get everything, knock on wood.
