isn't that "sweet"? And a lovely gift bag with nummy foodie fun island fare.

I found a use for that orange lava salt: they put it in my soaking foot bath at the spa. I had to LOL when they did that, thinking about the salt thread from a few weeks back. Can't wait to catch up on all the FK news and new recipes. I have just this current page left to peruse.

And Joe, we did catch the last episode of Sopranos.(this post will now go to black)

Did you like the hotel, Ang? I hope you had a great time. Do you have a photo of you and Sandi?

The Kahala was fabulous. Sandi has pics. My camera was still packed---we changed

hotels that day. Stayed at the Hawaii Prince for the last 3 days and this was fine too, but not as pampered as at the Kahala---no beach boys to set up our chairs and bring fresh towels and ice, LOL!

I'm happy for both of you! Ang, you're beginning to sound like a seasoned foodie

meeter - how many are there now in your foodie log book??

no swimming with dolphins---to spendy, but watching was just as fun. No Hoku's either, not quite

the place for the grandkiddies. Next time for sure, and also the sushi restaurant.

and one of my bookclub ladies moved to Phoenix and we have an open invitation, so watch out Michael

Brian, we had hail last night in that thunder boomer odd storm. Luckily it was soft hail and

didn't shred my garden, which is just coming into bloom. I had my nose pressed up to the window looking out at the white pellets piling up on the lawn. It was still in the 70s though, but thank God for the rain. It's been so dry that I fear wildfires.
