Back to my question again....just how lazy are we becoming?? The Robostir?

My sister gave me one for Christmas a couple of years ago

She likes to find weird kitchen gadgets for me. I just gave a box of them to a neighbor's kid...his school is having a garage sale.

The stirrer was the worst piece of kitchen junk I have ever used. I tried it on a pot of gravy and the thing wouldn't move in anything thicker than water.

I had to wait for the once-a-month electronic recycling day to get rid of it.

I think I would have to just stand there and watch it--so much for saving time. It's thick mixtures

like risotto or polenta that I would be tempted to use it for but they only demonstrate it in water.

Oh, the kitchen gadget gifts are the worst...

Richard cooks, get him a kitchen gadget for christmas.

Each family member that buys this junk proves they don't know me.

I hate this and want out.

Then there are the host(ess) gifts...I got a set of 3 little red bowls shaped like flowers with a

little wire whisk with a red handle. All tied together with raffia. What the hell are these for? They will be given at the office Christmas Party.

So rude. So ungrateful. People in the know NEVER wear pasties to Mardi Gras. And here we were

only trying to expand on his theme. Jeez.
