article this week. I actually made a loaf rather than making the rolls but I like the bread. I used the entire cup of oatmeal and started with the half cup water and then added an additional 1/4 cup. This was way too much water. After the first rise I realized the dough was way too slack and kneaded in some (1/2 cup?) additional flour but it really should have had more than that. I let it rise a little too long in the loaf pan so the top collapsed somewhat in the oven, but still a nice and nice textured loaf. I would also cut the two teaspoons salt back if using regular instead of kosher salt. I was out of kosher and found the bread to be a little salty.http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=100164536

I know your Mom is a member, so now I can honestly say that you are in "virtual trouble"! Watch what

you eat at Mom's! She can get even! They always have their ways! smileys/smile.gif

I never got away with ANYTHING. I got all the garbage about "you just make straight

A's because you're Ms. W's daughter" when in reality the teachers actually expected more of me. Also, Daddy taught shop and those stupid boys had big mouths. Kid's would run into one of my parent's and say-hey, I say Melissa at such-and-such place the other day! Well, maybe I wasn't supposed to be there.....
