Baked Tilapia with Lime and Shallots Butter Sauce

So I sort of made this up last night.

Lime and Shallots Butter Sauce

1/2 stick butter

the zest of one lime

1 tsp of lime juice

some salt

2 tbls. of chopped shallots

Combine ingredients, heat until melted and thick.

Pat dry tilapia fillets; season with salt and pepper. Place on oiled pan with a rim. Bake at 350 degrees for ten minutes or until done (10 minutes was fine).

Pour sauce over fillets and serve. I served it with wild rice and steamed zucchini.

 
I

phoneteggly correct at all times. To add an X in lieu of eggs as in The X-Files, would be an eggsample. Ah yes, we could call it The Eggxfiles, but that would trouble me. I would prefer Eggs Files but that doesn’t sound right. Don’t you eggree (your gem)?
