Barb--thanks for the pressure cooker corn suggestion

I've made it several times now, and I'll never go back to boiling.

I put one cup of water in, put the trivet in the bottom of the pot and cooked 3 ears of corn on high pressure for 5 minutes. Perfection......

Try tossing 3 ears - unpeeled - into microwave for 3-5min

depending on S-M-L size and whether they've been in the refrigerator. Once cooked, husk and silk remove easily. Expect they will be very hot so give them several minutes to cool down before peeling. Colleen

I put mine in a pot, cover with water and bring to a boil. Done, no matter

how many or how big a pot--have done dozen in a stockpot.

I have tried all of these methods, and we like the pressure cooker the best. Try it!

The ears are crisp, kernels are bursting with flavor. It's just a different corn experience. smileys/smile.gif
