Ellie Krieger's Honey Crisp Oven-fried Chicken

She uses thighs, but we used breasts. The only thing we did different was to toast and add 2 TBL of sliced almonds and 2 TBL of sesame seeds to the coating mix, to approximate the Mighty Cone version in Austin.

Larry cut each half-breast into 5 pieces, crosswise.

We will definitely be making this again.

Baking time was 25 minutes.

hey missy....our newspaper version only used 2 TSP of honey, not 2 TBL like the

linked version.

And oddly enough, I actually commented to Larry that I liked the "subtle sweetness" of this because honey is like garlic to me....a little bit good...too much and that's all I can taste.

We warmed up the two teaspoons so they spread very easily.

Thanks!! Tenders went into the freezer, crazy schedule. Will note it for when I defrost them.
