Battle of the Buttercreams, this is Very informative! Who Knew?

I didn't realize there were Choices out there! I made my first German Buttercream (not ever heard of it before) when I made the Daquoise from America's Test Kitchen a couple of months ago. Loved it! Just like a giant Macaron!http://thetoughcookie.com/series/

Good reference! Swiss buttercream is my go-to for everything...so stable and easy

cheezz, this would be a good spot to put your hint about beating butter FIRST and adding

sweetened egg mixture to it. I know I'll definitely be doing that after screwing up three batches with "warm" butter.
