Naomi is definitely a survivor (beat pancreatic cancer w/ a 5% survival rate) + wildly curious...

She's an amazing woman whose life is anchored by intellectual curiosity. Her family ties to Poncho Villa and growing up on a Japanese farm, given to her family after the previous owners were interned is just one of the many layers in a rich and varied life. I'm so glad she created the blog and encourage her to write more. smileys/smile.gif
