GayR, still can't get in ~ but I stumbled across a website that has a similar recipe w/orange cream

frosting and has interesting spices and recipes.

I still prefer to have the recipe you posted.

Orange CreamCheese Frosting Recipe ~ I found this recipe on All Spice website

It is so strange that the original recipe did not have the Orange Cream Cheese Frosting ~ went to google for recipe and allspice.com had it here it is ~ Looks good
Orange Cream Cheese Frosting

INGREDIENTS

3 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 teaspoon orange zest
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar


DIRECTIONS
Beat cream cheese, butter or margarine, orange peel, and orange juice until creamy. Beat in confectioner's sugar until blended and smooth.

I had the hardest time finding MASCARPONE Cheese called for this recipe ~ so here is a Substitute recipe for Mascarpone Cheese I obtained from food.com website~ This recipe has great ratings too. I was surprised I could not find this cheese as I looked in stores near my home.

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
2 1/2 tablespoons sour cream

Directions
Combine well and use in recipes calling for Mascarpone cheese.
Do not substitute low fat cream cheese or sour cream.

This is an awsome mixture of spice and taste and the pumpkin frosting is SO SO delicious ~ It definately is for Thanksgiving.

When I brought out the cake and said it was pumpkin frosting my sister was hesitant ~ who ever heard of pumpkin frosting I told her try a bit ~ She LOVED IT as did everyone and everyone kept saying "who ever thought pumkin frosting could be so good"
