Based on the current information, the FDA advises that consumers not eat bagged fresh spinach at this time. Preliminary epidemiological evidence suggests that bagged fresh spinach may be a possible cause of this outbreak.

The FDA issued a warning today

Classic Salad's Baby Spinach/Spring Mix was distributed nationwide, as well as Canada and Japan, to foodservice, institutions and distributors.

We didn't have that here that I know of.Today they are saying just bagged spinach

should be tossed--not even loose needs to be. Of course, they have identified the source company which makes a difference.
