"Black Gold :Peppercorn varietals bring sweet-hot nuance to every dish" (Article and recipes)

Have you had that "Trader Joe's Wintry Blend" coffee? . . .

It's got cinnamon, nutmeg and Red and Black Peppercorns in it, and not just flavorings, you can see the spices.

I like it.

I gotta admit, I really don't usually go for flavored coffees, but I like this stuff (more)

But my sister complained that it didn't taste like coffee.

I guess you could consider it a coffee-based beverage, with a dominant flavor of spices.

I have been mixing it with some Yuban Organic (this stuff is pretty non-descript) for a little more coffee flavor; the mix was still dominated by the spice. This morning I tried it with Peet's Major Dikason's Blend and got more coffee flavor, but I could tell that the Dikason's was going over to too strong as the grind on the Dikason's is finer than the Wintry Blend. Still good though--I had 4 small cups this morning!
