Bought a jar of "The Heat is On" from the Peanut Butter & Co. in the Village.

The label says "peanut butter blended with fiery spices" I was told it was really hot.

Any ideas on what to do with it?

Cyn, is this Deja Vu? I remember you posting about this awhile ago. Am I dreaming? smileys/smile.gif Anyway, I

recommend "Thai-Style Pasta Salad," and "Noodle Salad with Peanut-Lime Vinaigrette" - just omit the hot spices in both.
Let me know if you want either or both recipes. The first one is T&T, and the second one has gotten lots of great reviews and is from a very reliable source.

Make cold noodles...

thin with soy, chicken stock, strong cold black tea, sesame oil, minced garlic and ginger, white pepper, and dried red pepper flakes to taste, depending on how hot the peanut butter is (you want a thin pourable dressing). Toss choice of noodles (leftover day old cold pasta is best) with sauce, scallions, and minced cilantro. Garnish with cilantro, cucumber strips, and crushed dry roasted peanuts.

I have made this exact dish, except it didn't have tea in it. You can also add

cooked/leftover bite-sized pieces of chicken or pork to it, for a really good alternative - it's very good!

Maybe I will make it again tomorrow night!
