Bought gluten-free flour for the first time. Pleasantly surprised. I made one of my favorite recipes

Keep in mind that there is not all all-purpose gf flour - cookies, cakes, pies, breads...

all do better with their own blends. So don't be discouraged if you try it for something that doesn't work. It was perfect for what you tried it on, and there will be recipes or suggestions on the package. They've improved gf stuff by leaps and bounds now so you really can do things that don't taste like cardboard smileys/smile.gif

 
The jury is still out for me. With the recipe I tried it on, it's funny. with regular flour,

the following day, the crust, even drenched in sauce, is still crispy. The wings with gluten-free flour, was not. Fun little test. I'll try it with a few other things. The woman I'm cooking for is gluten-free so I was hoping this would expand our options. We'll see....
