Had half a red cabbage doing nothing and decided to look for a hot dish. Will definitely make this again.
I used sherry vinegar which seemed to complement the other flavours well. Didn't have any bacon so I just used a mix of butter and oil. This dish would love to have bacon bits sprinkled over the top.
