Brining question from my sister: Can you brine, dry, then freeze....rather than cook immediately?

Lynda wants to make a large batch of brined chicken but doesn't want to cook all of it at the same time. She'd like to portion it out and put most in the freezer for later cooking.

Will this method (brining/freezing/thawing) degrade the quality of the meat?

I did this recently with chicken bone in pieces, defrosted then grilled, they were fine

Had a senior moment and forgot that I had chicken to cook at a big bbq and was stuck with leftovers, so I had to freeze them. Didn't notice any degradation or excessive saltiness.

Good luck!
