I find a bad egg in almost every dozen--smelly discolored yukky. I never had bad eggs in the white eggs I always bought. I checked the expiration date and all the cartons were fine. I also notice little blood specks in the whites/yolks in these brown eggs. anyone else have problems with brown eggs? I bought them at 2 different stores, different brands. I now do the "open the egg in a small dish before adding to the batter" thing. I'm back to buying the white eggs. so much for "fancy".
