Brunswick stew

I made this recipe yesterday and it is worthy. It's been decades since I made Brunswick stew and I always just made it with chicken, My son's ex-mother-in-law, a wonderful lady from southern Virginia made hers with chicken and ground beef. This recipe uses chicken and pork, particularly leftover pulled pork--and had BBQ sauce in the pot too.

I used my pulled pork (it didn't have sauce on it of course) and added probably about a cup of my BBQ sauce which is very vinegary. I also used a 28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes. I like it more tomatoey. As he says, taste and adjust with more BBQ sauce, etc. I also added a jalapeno and think it could use another or some hot sauce when serving. Now I need to get some to my children 'cause it made a gracious plenty!! LOL
