Wow. Heard a reference to this on the Splendid Table (great show!) and just had to order it. It arrived Friday in time for Saturday dindin. Amazing, amazing, amazing: Artisan Blue Cheese smoked over hazelnut shells. The link below is to igourmet who sells it in smaller packages. The main link is to Rogue Creamery who makes it and only sells it in 5-lb. wheels.

This is cheese heaven.

we've been eating it for

snacks, with a glass of wine before dinner, served after dinner with cognac (see menu in T&T where I used it with the preceeding recipe for the chicken in garlic wine cream sauce.
