upon called "Yonanas"? As in does anyone have one, when did this thing come out and what do you think of it? Yesterday John took the trash to the trash area and it was sitting on the floor so being John he brought it back. It has the instruction book although it looks like it's something that came out years ago. The thing itself is in perfect shape and clean. We did a good clean and sterilize on it and I looked through the booklet and we gave it a whirl. I have frozen peaches and strawberries in the freezer so we put those through it and it's kinda interesting. I put some bananas in the freezer last night and I guess I'll try it again. Anyone ever have one? I should add that close to a year ago on a trash trip John came back with a Griddler. It worked so I spent a good amount of time cleaning it and now I have something that I can feel like I'm grilling while in a condo. It's a beauty!

P.S. And before anyone says well of course, everyone knows about Yonanas please remember I lived in Saudi Arabia for 12 years with no tv so there is much that I missed out on during that time. ;0)

Hey O, a coworker (super fit. super exerciser) has one of these and uses it daily.

He likes putting fresh pineapple through it as well as bananas.

Loves it. Even brought it into work one day to make frozen treats for all of us.

Do you have any idea when this came out? I don't think it's

something new cause the pictures in the booklet dates it but I'm really curious. I just put a frozen banana and a peanut butter cookie through it and WOW is it rich! And very much like ice cream. The strawberries and peaches yesterday was more of a sherbet. Interesting little contraption.

Huh! Evidently being isolated from the rest of the world has nothing

to do with my being clueless. I never saw anything about this. Did all of you see it? Thanks Marilyn.

It's new to me Orchid. I don't remember seeing anything about it in a food magazine or even and ad

for it anywhere. It looks very interesting! Kudos to John for bringing it home. They don't come cheap.

Ha! I didn't even think to look at the price. It is pricey! I have all

these really senior citizens around me and I'm sure some are just doing some "downsizing" and they probably put them in the trash room in case someone wants it. John always comes in kinda sheepish and says what do you think? And they are always in really good shape and probably not used that much. The Cuisinart Griddler is fantastic!

LOL! I remember that!!! I just read that to John and I can't even

tell you what he said your reply should have been! I can't stop laughing....Oh, and I have sure had fun making Panini's.

Rolling here! Marilyn, I missed that the first time around so thanks for pointing me to that story

again. That DH of yours is a laugh a minute!
