Can I half this Pate Brisee recipe?

I have some left over sweet tart dough from a previous recipe but it is not enough for a new recipe I am making.

Here is the recipe I want to half and is there a negative effect if I half it?

1 1/4 cups all purpose flour (175 grams or 6 ounces)

1/2 cup cake flour (50 grams or 1 3/4 ounces)

1 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup butter, cold, cut into small pieces (1 1/2 sticks or 170 grams or 6 ounces)

2 tablespoons beaten egg

1 teaspoon lemon juice

5 tablespoons ice cold water (possibly a bit more)

 
No problem at all, but dough freezes really well so if you're uncomfortable

doing half, make the new recipe as is and freeze your original half.

 
Trying not to have any dough left over. Some times I end up throwing away the frozex

dough because it was too old.
