Can I make this in a springform pan or am I inviting disaster? It make too much filling for one pie

If you line the pan w/ parchment and set on a parchment-lined baking sheet, it should be ok, no?

Hmmm - could be. I'm just worried if it will hold up when I remove the pan sides.

I've done this before (can't remember with which cake), and just let the cake cool completely before

popping the sides off. But I beg not to be held responsible for cake disasters, as I have too many of my own culinary disasters to count. smileys/wink.gif
