Can I make this in a springform pan or am I inviting disaster? It make too much filling for one pie

I've done this before (can't remember with which cake), and just let the cake cool completely before

popping the sides off. But I beg not to be held responsible for cake disasters, as I have too many of my own culinary disasters to count. smileys/wink.gif
