Can I make whole milk with these ingredients?

I have an excess of 1/2 & 1/2 and a quart of 1% milk. A recipe for a filling for a cake I am going to use, calls for 1 3/4C whole milk. Can I use some combination of 1/2 and 1/2 plus 1% milk to make something close to whole milk. From what I have heard the filling is more like a chocolate pudding.

Thanks

I follow CI's ratio, they say 2/3 cup 1% and 1/3 cup half and half equals 1 cup whole milk. I don't

knolw if it's correct, but I've had good luck with it as I always have 1% milk and half and half in the fridge.

The other ratios they give are 3/4 c. 2% and 1/4 c. half and half. As well as 5/8 c. nonfat

and 3/8 c. half and half. I keep this chart inside a cabinet door and so far so good. I've wondered if it not being homogenized makes a difference, but it seems to work fine.

I keep a copy of this inside a cabinet door. I've wondered about it not being homogenized, but it

seems to work just fine.

Curious, I think since the milk and cream were homogenized individually, the combination works.
