Can I remake fudge? The pb fudge I made this a.m. doesn't have enough peanut

taste in it, but it's already set. Can I melt it down, add more peanut butter, and then recool it? Will the consistency be ok? I don't mean because of the added pb (won't add that much), I mean because of the recooking of it )

I don't know about melting it. . .BUT. . .

Maybe you could mix some good peanut butter with a little sugar and then cut the already-made fudge into layers and spread the p-butter mix in, sorta like a cake?

I think it is fine to recook to the same temp. Don't know what the additional fat

will do to the texture.

Here's a terrific one that is dead easy. People practically slug it out for this:

1 bag milk chocolate chips
1 bag peanut butter chips
small can salted cocktail peanuts
1 stick of butter
1 can Eagle brand milk

Chop peanuts.
Melt peanut butter chips with half of butter & half of milk in microwave, being careful not to burn. Stir smooth, stir in chopped peanuts. This will get to be almost dough-like very fast. Press in greased pan.

Melt chocolate chips with remaining butter and milk. Spread on top of peanut layer. Let set, then cut in squares.

My ex-sister-in-law used to make this and I can't count how many people I heard ask if Genie would bring her fudge.
