We are going to my niece's for the meal at 1 pm, but elder DD and SO are coming to us for dessert at 6 pm. Could I just leave it soaking overnight and put it into the oven when I get home? I'll be using challah as the bread. It's the first time I haven't cooked for the family for Thanksgiving for over 20 years. smileys/smile.gif
DD doesn't eat cake, we don't like pumpkin pie though SO loves it, so I am making the Apple Snacking Cake posted here a few days ago, the pumpkin pie Karen posted a few years ago, and this B&B pudding because it's cool (for Florida) in the evenings.
