I can't find my recipe but I'm sure I posted it here. It's little crostini's that are topped with asparagus, Swiss cheese and cubed ham and cooked in the oven to melt cheese. I'd really appreciate any help.

I can't find it even using G search...

to do a sitewide search using G**gle do this:

site:eat.at (then add your search words)

So for example:

site:eat.at asparagus crostini Orchid

And several combos adding swiss cheese and ham - got me nothing. So not sure you posted it here. smileys/frown.gif

How about any of these recipes? (more, the closest I could find)

Was your crostini topping all mixed together, then heated/broiled to heat?

Were the ingredients layered on the bread? Like asparagus, then ham, then swiss? Then heated/broiled?

Please check the links below. They some do not call for exactly the cheese that you are specifying, but sound like what you want. First two have pictures; you could sub in swiss for their cheeses and cube the ham. They do look good they both have asparagus, ham and cheese.

Thanks mistral. I saw all those. This is all really stupid of me because

I actually just have this recipe in my head since I've made it so many times but suddenly today I'm not sure if I'm missing a seasoning ingredient. That's why I was trying to find it. It's a very simple dish.
Brush thin slices of French bread with EVOO and sprinkle garlic salt. Toast in oven on both sides.
Mix small cubed ham, shredded Swiss cheese, mayo and a splash of white wine.
Blanch asparagus and place on toast and mound cheese mixture on top. Bake until cheese is melted.
That's it...I just can't remember if I'm supposed to add any seasoning to the cheese mixture. I don't think so but I just wanted to check.

orchid, might U have posted it 2 the Old Gail's site or EPI or 2 the site right B4 eat.at (I can't

remember the name of it anymore!)? I've pulled that stunt on myself in the past.

Exactly! We have donned our deerstalkers, lit our calabashs, and are seeking that Moriarty of a rec.
