Costco has already cut up squash this time of year and I hate cutting it up so i want to buy and freeze if possable. TIA

cutting it up is not a big deal but if you have already bough it I would suggest......

that you roast it tossed first in a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar and chopped rosemary, or whatever is your preference, cool, mash slightly and freeze for future meals. I wouldn't freeze it raw. Dense, cooked squash freezer well.

I freeze pureed butternut all the time. I roast it like Janet suggested and then puree it.

Then I can use for soups and pies or anything that calls for pureed pumpkin or squashes like a quick bread.
