Can you re-freeze phylo dough?

I bought the smallest package of phylo dough (it can only be purchased frozen here) and I have only used 12 of the 30 plates of dough. Can I re-freeze them and thaw them for later use?

You can but they really must not have dried out at all. Otherwise, the freezer will

just carry on with the drying process. I've done it successfully a couple of times but only when I have not opened the package. The one that I buy has 2 pkg. per box. Once it is opened, it's really difficult to get it not to dry out instantly. And once it dries, it becomes so brittle it's almost useless.
