thanks, I just wanted it for Johnny Cakes, I'm tired of my old electric frying pan where the heat is

so uneven. My mother always used a cast iron pan and I wish I had it now. Of course, she also used bacon fat which I don't allow myself. Alas.

You should try MCM's corn meal & okra cakes in the pan next. Very good.
