Cardamom Oatmeal Pancakes with apricots

These are calling out to me..like the Aztec gold in "Pirates of the Caribbean."

It's gonna go down to 30 here this weekend, so I'm already thinking of warm and sweet. Bummer that I have to remember to make the oatmeal first, but....

Update: Mediocre at best. No rising agent, so they just were flat and gummy.

The almonds were an odd addition too. Neither of us liked running into a hard object in a soft pancake.
