I made this cake for my daughter's birthday and was very happy with the results. It includes making caramel which when added to the cake - resulted in a very light flavouring. So not so sure I would make it again as the caramel portion took me about 45 minutes. But for those of you who have no problem at all making caramel - we really enjoyed it. I too decorated it with the melted white chocolate dots. Her book has just been released and I'm expecting my copy to arrive any day now.
