CathyZ...what condiments do you serve with your Laarb?

Thanks, marinated jalapenos and red onion it will be for me.

I walked by the pepper section at the supermarket on Thursday and was so amazed at the array of peppers. So beautiful, and so many....then I just walked right off with a smile on my face. So no Thai chilies here. I have dozens of jalapenos frozen in my freezer from last years garden. I have mint and basil too...should be so good.

enjoying Cathy's Laarb! This is my go to dish instead of serving a taco bar in our home. We make the meat, serve with lots of different sides and everyone eats it differently. Some like to roll up the meat in lettuce, others make it into a salad. I put out onions, water chestnuts, scallions, cucumbers, cilantro, etc....

This is really a wonderful dish!!

 
I use pretty much what I posted in 2006- sometimes I use different peppers.

I use Serranos both green and red- sometimes Jalapeños but usually the Thai peppers when I can find them. Once you make the Laarb you can figure out fun stuff to use next time. I still love this dish all these years later.
