you add more?

These are ones that I've eaten at, but I'm sure there are many, many more.

Laughing Seed (vegetarian) ~thank you for this one!

Early Girl Eatery

12 Bones

LAB ($2 tacos)

Tupelo Honey Cafe

Doc Chey's Thai

thank you! We'll be neighbors within a year or so. My "get the hell out of Florida" house is slowing going up in Waynesville.

Hooray---That's great news.

The Admiral
Chef Mo's
Curate' (Tapas)
Mela (Indian)
Luella's Bar-B-Que
The Market Place
Nine Mile (Caribbean)
Posana Cafe
Rezaz
Salsa's
Sunny Point Cafe & Bakery (great breakfasts) with a real taste of funky West Asheville
White Duck Taoo Shop

Coffee and/or lunch:
West End Bakery
City Bakery (also a branch in Waynesville)--very good bread

Wedge Brewary-a hoot to sample their wares outdoors in a VERY eclectic atmosphere.

Karen Donatelli Bakery & Cafe--like a cafe in Europe with some of the best pastry in the area.

Blue Ridge Pizza in Weaverville--music from 7 to 9.
then go across the street to the well bred cafe for dessert.

We will be in Asheville the beginning of June...

after going to a wedding in Charlottesville, VA. A road trip is being planned, through VA, on to NC then back up through MD, DE and home.

We'll also be wandering along the NJ shore on our way down, checking out the post-Sandy recovery. Rich grew up in the area hardest hit on the Jersey shore and is drawn there.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions.

Agree! Loved the Biltmore Estate. I wish we had allowed more time to

meander around the grounds and explore the gardens. So lovely.
